About

Mzuzah Sustainability Projects Competition started in 2017 to develop, empower and inspire the next generation of African leaders, inculcating in them a keen sense of the implication of their actions on the well-being of their communities, environment, and the world at large. For the 2021 Competition, we invited 30 institutions from 5 countries to participate -The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone. We received also proposal submissions from 24 teams from 4 countries - The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, and Nigeria

To create project teams in tertiary institutions in Africa who will champion the design and implementation of sustainability projects in communities.

To provide a platform that supports the next generation of leaders in undertaking sustainable development projects in communities.

To provide mentorship to the next generation of young leaders in Africa to become champions of sustainable development efforts in communities.
